Wind Mitigation

Central Florida is not excluded from Florida’s hurricane season which is why homeowners should get an annual wind mitigation inspection. A wind mitigation inspection is completed when our wind mitigation inspector goes to your residence and inspects the external areas of your home that help protect it from hurricane force winds. The wind mitigation inspector will focus on several factors, but not limited to: roof age, roof shape, roof to wall attachments, attic, nail size/pattern, exterior openings, and exterior protection.  If your home passes a wind mitigation inspection you will be able to qualify for discounts, credits, and savings with any Florida homeowner's insurance company, with savings of up to 80% off.

After your home’s wind mitigation inspection, you will receive a complete report that verifies all the windstorm resistant features which you then submit to your insurance company, who will then give you an estimate of your premium savings. Your estimated insurance savings are based on the likelihood of your home to incur costly repairs if faced with a hurricane or windstorm. Not only is a wind mitigation inspection recommended to help save you money, but it is also recommended to help keep you safe during the hurricane season. Our wind mitigation inspection report is valid for up to five years from the date of the actual inspection and will be completed by a wind mitigation expert in order to provide the most efficient and meticulous report.
